The exhibition features over 200 works by prominent early Soviet artists from the collections of Russian museums. They include works by Nikolay Feshin, Vasily Kandinsky, Alexander Rodchenko, Ivan Klyun, Olga Rozanova, Georgy Lazarev, Konstantin Chebotarev and other masters

Exhibition of Berdiguly Amansakhatov (Turkmenistan)
The exhibition features 43 easel paintings by the famous Turkmen stage designer, painter and graphic artist Berdiguly Amansakhatov, created between 2013 and 2022: works on the themes of the Great Silk Road, the Resplendent East, and others. Berdiguly Amansakhatov is a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, an Honoured Artist of the Republic of Khakassia, and winner of Best Set Design competitions at international festivals (Bishkek, Quebec, Ashgabat, Sevastopol, Lviv, Tashkent, Kazan)

Exhibition “The Beauty of the Quranic Word”
The exhibition features a gallery of artistically designed pages from Qurans from different regions of Russia, from Andalusia (Spain), North and Central Africa, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Central Asia, India and China. Visitors can trace the changes to the handwriting and design of the Quran from the end of the 7th century to the present day

Exhibition “Woven History” from the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia
The exhibition is based on unique items of decorative and applied arts – narrative rugs, tapestries and embroidered panels that preserve historical memories, having been created to mark specific historical dates or events, or as gifts to eminent Russian figures. They include gifts to Iosif Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, Mikhail Gorbachev and other prominent Russian figures

The exhibition features items of Chinese decorative and applied art from the State Museum of Oriental Art, the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, the National Museum of the Republic of Buryatia, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Nizhny Novgorod Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve, and the Kyakhta Museum of Local Lore. They include items made of porcelain and bronze, carved stone and silk from the 16th–20th centuries

The exhibition presents the works by artists from 1910–1917, including Larionov, Goncharova, Lentulov, Falk, Mashkov, Konchalovsky, Kuprin, Rozhdestvensky, Osmerkin and Kandinsky, represented by his 1913 Improvisation. As a reflection of the line of succession, the exhibition is supplemented by works by artists from Kazan’s and St. Petersburg’s avantgarde movements

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian artist, scholar, traveller and world-famous public figure Nikolay Roerich, and the 145th anniversary of the birth of Elena Roerich, an intellectual luminary, writer and active participant in her husband’s Central Asian expedition

Exhibition “Golden Collection of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ivan Shishkin”
The exhibition features well-known works by Ivan Shishkin, the landscape artist, engraver and one of the greatest masters of realistic landscape painting. After the Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum, this is the third biggest collection of the artist’s work in the country. The exhibition features 60 works, including 33 paintings, 27 works of graphic art, and 46 plant specimens provided by the Eversman Zoological Museum and Herbarium at Kazan Federal University, which represent the flora of Tatarstan and are reflected in Shishkin’s work

Exhibition “Noblemen Hurry to Court … Banquets and Hunting in the Countries of the East” from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum
The exhibition is dedicated to society events in the East, where noblemen would hurry to court to resolve important political issues. The exhibition features items from the 17th-19th centuries from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum, including Eastern miniatures and graphics, and handicrafts made of metal, bone and porcelain, illustrating Eastern banqueting traditions and covering four regions: Egypt, Iran, India and China

A joint project between the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”, aimed at highlighting the diversity of the cultures of ethnic groups living in BRICS member countries and demonstrating that common humanitarian values beyond the plane of politics and economics are a foundation that can become a solid base for unity and friendship between people from different countries
